Ashley Rose-Mello, LMT, RYT earned her Bachelor’s Degree with Individual Concentration in Holistic Heath from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and went on to complete over 1,000 hours of training at Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado. As a Massage Therapist, she has experience working with prenatal and postpartum women, as well as individuals with both chronic and acute health conditions in hospitals and private practice. Ashley works with the client’s natural breathing rhythms to create freedom and space where pain and/or resistance may be present. She combines techniques from Swedish Therapeutic Massage, Normalization of Soft Tissue, Zen Shiatsu, and Integrative Massage to tailor each treatment session to meet the individual needs of the client.
In addition to Ashley’s massage therapy training, she is a registered yoga teacher, having completed a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training program with Gurudass Kaur and Guruatma Singh Khalsa. She also completed a 500-hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training focusing on the principles of alignment. Ashley is influenced by many teachers and styles of yoga and is committed to continuing her education through classes, workshops, & self-practice. Her passion for the practice of yoga, as well as her prior training in the field of health and wellness allow her to take a holistic approach to her yoga instruction that works to bring awareness and balance to the body, mind, and spirit.
