Shauna is a 200-hour RYT. She took yoga on and off for years but dedicated herself to yoga 5 years ago as a way to help her remember to breathe, de-stress, and learn to just be in the moment without worrying about the “before” or “next” of it all and she enrolled in a teacher training program to learn more about the philosophy and history of yoga and meditation as well as to deepen her daily practice. She is truly excited to share what she has learned with new students who are just starting their own yoga journeys. She has worked in the field of Special Education for 20 years and is currently the teacher of an Integrated preschool program as well as the school-wide BCBA for a local public school. After completing a Yoga Ed. Workshop, she began to incorporate daily yoga activities with her students and has seen the amazing effects yoga can have at any age! Her classes are fun, focused and adapted to all levels.
