Who can take classes at Tranquil Souls Yoga?
Everyone, all levels, abilities and ages will benefit greatly from our classes. You are simply encouraged to be yourself, and honor where you are in the present moment. When it comes to your YOGA practice, the YOGA postures can be modified to fit you and you’ll be guided to embrace your grace on the mat. In BARRE class every exercise can be modified as well, so no matter what you will feel empowered! BARRE targets those difficult to tone areas and is one of the fastest and safest ways to see results. Our BARRE classes are designed to effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body.
What should I bring to class?
The most important thing that you can bring to a class is yourself. We have a selection of FREE props to use, (yoga mats, blocks, blankets, straps, bolsters, weights, balls etc.) but if you have your own feel free to bring them!
What is Barre?
Barre is a fast paced workout incorporating Pilates, Yoga, and Dance. This non-impact workout brings together disciplines of Pilates, Sports Conditioning and Ballet Stretching. Each muscle group is targeted through intense isometric movements, followed by dance inspired elongating stretches. We use mats, 1 to 3 lb weights, bands and a ballet bar to create a strong, toned and graceful body.
